CME Accreditation

The Rochester Academy of Medicine welcomes requests to jointly provide continuing medical education (CME) activities. Through this collaborative process, we work with partner organizations to ensure that all educational activities are planned, implemented, and evaluated in accordance with ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education.

How the Process Works

1. Submit Your Application

Complete the online CME application for your activity type:

  • Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) - A live activity designed as a recurring series of ongoing sessions.

  • Single Live Event - A live activity in which learners participate in real time.

  • Enduring Material - An on-demand CME activity that can be completed at any time and from any location. Participants have the flexibility to engage with the activity whenever it best fits their schedule.

If you are new to CME accreditation or need assistance with the process, we encourage you to contact our office before applying.

2. Review & Approval

Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the CME Office. Approved programs will receive:

  • A certification letter

  • Fee invoice

  • Checklist of required materials and next steps
