Special Membership Announcement
The Rochester Academy of Medicine was founded, “to be a society purely for scientific work.” Today, 117 years later, we continue exploring the science of healthcare through educational and networking programs. Each event offers our members the opportunity to connect with each other across disciplines and systems in a politically neutral space. In addition, this year we are launching a community initiative to provide quality healthcare education for the Rochester community at large. The Academy is continuing to grow and provide opportunities for our community that were unimaginable even a few years ago. Changes are afoot to continue this rapid ascent.
We strive to provide the best possible services and opportunities to our members and over the years that has meant change for the Academy. Just a few short years ago the Board of Trustees voted to open up our physician-only membership to the entire spectrum of healthcare professions. Once again, the Academy is making a move to bring the whole healthcare team together by simplifying our membership. The Academy will now offer one unified membership option for professional members. This change reflects the wider shift in healthcare while staying true to our values of collaboration, integrity, leadership and diversity.
Professional membership levels will be replacing the previous active levels that were divided by income. Active Professional Membership is open to all members of the healthcare team for annual dues of $100

Individual Membership
Individual Membership is open to healthcare professionals in all disciplines across institutions and scholars who study healthcare issues. The annual dues for membership range from free to $100.
