Saturday Seminars at the Academy

 

"The Cutting Edge"

The "Cutting Edge" seminars are designed to cover useful and contemporary topics that will be of immediate benefit to the practicing physician. Three hours of CME credit are available for each program.


Recent programs were:

"Cardiology: Arrhythmias and Coronary Artery Disease," featuring local cardiologists in a timely discussion of the topics.

"Diabetes Mellitus: Diagnosis and Treatment," featuring traditional approaches to the patient, a new look at diabetes and its implications for future treatment and diagnosis. 

"Rheumatology: Diagnosis and Treatment," including new treatments for rheumatiod arthritis and an update on spondyloarthropathies.

"Pain Management: Management of headache, chronic pain; a look at acupuncture"
